Exotic location with royal hospitality in a word...
We have watched illuminated kanchenjunga in full moon night.although the best time to visit this place is november to february.but what we have got in october was really awesome.pleasant weather with blooming flowers around. Sumptuous food with great hospitality from staff specially from prem bhai. This is altogether the best place for couples and as well as families.well furnished rooms and cosy veranda added flavours to our whole trip. So friends just go there .take a stroll along the lonely village path and enjoy yourself in the lap of nature.Ravishing Ravangla in true meaning.

The beautiful resort with beautiful people...
Mind blowing experience is what I had during my stay at this resort during the NEW YEAR eve and NEW YEAR.
Awesome place, great hospitality, affordable and very peaceful resort. Nice location, away from market place (who wants to stay at market place in a hill station???) on a hill top with a small valley type garden, on the back side of the resort is a forest where deer lives....
Resort well maintained, big tidy rooms, with simple but aesthetic decor, log house type, the rooms have catchy names of flowers...like Gulaph, Sayapatri...etc...balcony adjacent to rooms we lived are just too good...from where I enjoyed the view of snow clad mountain ranges of MT Narsing and MT Knachandzonga.
The team of the co owner Sayantan and Premji are lovely people...they arranged camp fire for us everyday....we enjoyed barbeque made by Premji...the food was awesome thanks to the cook....to our surprise we could enjoy prawn too....which we never got in remote holiday destinations of mountains..
I wish to go back to this place again and again....and Sayantan...and Prem ji....We are coming back soon....

The best hospitality ever received...
Hilltop Rabong is a home away from home...with all comforts of home mixed with wonderful hospitality of Hilltop Rabong team....namely Mr Sayantan , Premji, Mona, Suraj ...Kamla....We stayed there from 30th Dec 2015 to 3 rd Dec 2016.
The propery is placed beautifully amidst nature on a serene hill top, the resort offers wonderful magnificent view of snow clad Mt Narsing...Mt Kanchundzonga. The rooms are simple but aesthetically done, big in size with cozy balcony ( Marigold and Rhododendron) having wonderful view of lofty mountain ranges...which one can enjoy from bed itself...
Mr Sayantan, Susweta Di, Premji and others took special care to make our stay comfortable in all respect. Infact Mr Sayantan and his team became our freinds and all of us together enjoyed wonderful evenings(New Year Eve and Newyear) infront of campfire....enjoying tender Chicken Barbeque done fabulously by Premji. We did spend a memorable New Year.....a lifetime experience I must say...
The nights were chilling cold but we were been given hot water bags too (in addition to room heater) beneath the blankets to keep ourself warm. Once again thanks to Premji...amd Kamla...
Coming to the dining part...I have been to Sikkim several times but I must admit that the food we got this time from Hilltop Rabong was the best...homely and afordable too...They even served prawn....
This is the best place to be in...if someone is looking for a peaceful serene holiday in the lap of nature, with nice people around..one should be in Hilltop Rabong...

Amazing Experience...What Nature! What Hospitality! WOW
It cannot get better than this in a small hilltown like Ravangla. Tremendous service by Sayantan and Prem Bhai. Very Nice of them....they perfectly defined Atithi Devo Bhava. Rooms are very clean, spacious, airy. The restroom matches to standard.
Good food which was served hot at all times and the complimentary breakfast was filling enough. You can get delicacies at reasonable rates and the staff is always ready to help. You need to order atleast 4 hrs in adv for meals.
Its a WOW location with Kachenjunga giving a peek at you on a clear fog less and cloudfree morning. The resort has adequate green with variety of flora and fauna. We stayed there for three days and two nights and were looking for more. I would refer all to stay in this resort in ravangla. BEST IN CLASS...

Best place to stay at Ravangla!
This was our second visit to Ravangla. I had met the owner-in-making of Hilltop Rabong Resort back in 2012 during the rainy month of April. As the property finally took shape and became operational in February 2015, warm invitation to experience the hospitality came almost on daily basis. Finally, we decided to visit Ravangla, to complete our pending trek to the Maenam hill top and also stay at Hilltop Rabog resort.
Sayantan, one of the co-owners had arranged for a a big SUV (Innova) from the NJP station. That is a common practice among many hotels owners in Sikkim and Darjeeling. What is worth mentioning is the person who drove us to Ravangla - Damberda - soft spoken, super steady on the wheels and extremely amicable - he is the owner of the Innova who drives himself. In fact, we decided that while returning to it will be no one else than Damber da. I have his mobile number, if any one is interested, may inbox me.
Now about Hilltop Rabong - Excellent location (away from the chaos of the bazaar), big spacious rooms, very, very clean toilets and to top it all - excellent warm hospitality. The owners and the staff are at your service at every odd hour. Premji, one of the co-owners is a living library of information about Ravangla, its history, geography, myths and legends. If you are interested in flora, take a walk with Premji in the jungle above the resort. Every tree, flower, leaf and root is at Premji's fingertips!
If you are a dog lover - A labrador an two pugs will keep you entertained at Hilltop Rabong. This was a free topping for us :)
Chinese, Indian and Bengali food is served at the restaurant at very reasonable price. The hotel had also arranged for everything for the day trek to Maneam Hill. This hotel is truly home away from home!

A very good experience at Hilltop Rabong for the following reasons:
A good location right on a hilltop
Good views from rooms, balconies and beautifully maintained lawn.
Rooms are big in size ( we stayed in Sayapatri) with huge mountain-facing balcony and excellent wood-work and a specious toilet.
Great hospitality. Mr Sayantan, Mr Prem are simply excellent.
Food was deliciously cooked, fresh and a lot of choices in the menu, including Bhetki, Hilsa and other fishes- a delight for bengalis. There also continental and chinese lip-smacking items. The rates are really reasonable.
They arranged bon-fire on a chilled evening which was a wonderful experience.
They also arranged for sight-seeing at a cheap rate.
But the main part was the location of the resort with a out-standing hospitality of the staffs, owners. All of them were friendly and always eager to help the guests.
Cleanliness was also a part of the resort.
Ideal for solitude lovers, honeymoon couples.

Blissful retreat...
It was a fantastic place to be ... The resort is different from the rest of the hotels at Ravangla. It's between the hills and forests and if u r lucky, then u can hear the barking of deers in the night... From the bedroom, you can see the range of Kanchenjunga if the sky is clear.... One must spend at least 3 nights over here... The owner Mr. Sayantan is a lively and a lovely person to meet with... Food is awesome ..... The hotel staff are friendly and humble ... Service is very good.... To reiterate ...a wonderful place to spend some time in peace ....

A Resort For Nature Lovers
Hilltop Rabong Resort in Ravangla placed at a height of around 7500ft, the resort is maintained by Bengali and Sikkim personnel. Authentic Bengali as well as all types of cuisine is available as per one's desire. Specially Bengali food which we took, is simply awesome. What astonished me is the exquisite beauty of the resort with surrounding garden and view of the Kanchenjunga mountains. The resort construction displays the artistic design by using bamboo strips and wood. The artistry is wonderful endeavour of the craftsman. One can hear crow of the cock, low of the cow, barking of two beautiful pugs and one labrador feels just like a village home. If luck favours you may hear bell of the wild deers, chirping of the birds, sounds of insects from the forest behind. Some call Ravangla the second Cherrapunji of India due to rain throughout the year. The hospitality of the owners of Madam and Sayantan and Premji and all others is beyond expectation. They are not less than relatives in anyway. We would like to visit there again. One thing just I would like to request them to keep electric kettle in every room for quick hot water as our wish.

Simply awesome
If you dare to dream to have meal with 'hilsa', 'vetki' or other bengalee cuisines at an altitude of 6500 ft, your must visit location should be this at Ravangla. The hospitality of 'Sayantan da' and team is simply awesome. I visited there in last May and the weather was not kind enough to me, otherwise you can achieve mountain view from your bed. The property itself with its landscape is highly picturesque. Wish we meet again with 'Sayantan Da' at there soon.

Good hotel to stay with good facility
A wonderful place for spending leisure with family and friends, be it brewing coffee at wooden deck on a cold morning or sizzling barbeque at chilling night they will arrange it all for you. Wooden decor, classy design, homely atmosphere, and a jaw dropping hilltop view of ravangla will surely be a treat of eyes. Enjoyed a lot there, this is the best place to stay at ravangla to make your trip memorable.

It was awesome experience in the resort.
We simply can’t imagine Hilsa at 7000 ft, that too total Bengali recipes. Sayantanda and Prem Bhai is too great, Mona and Kamaladi’s care is just like sisters care. You have lift the bar of service, it is tough to maintain, but please continue.

Discipline and Hospitality makes Sikkim Great,

We visited the place impromptu and happened to stay there for long three days.
It is just home out of home. But we missed the view of majestic Kanchanjhunga due to weather. I must appreciate the hospitality of the entire family of Prembhai’s and hereby welcome of Mr. Bannerjee. Leaving the place with a great experience and cherish to come here again.
